THIS EVENING, the UK’s largest electrical retailer Currys PC World unveils its Black Friday deals at 9.30pm for online shoppers to take advantage of the huge savings on offer before shops open on Friday.
With expectations that customers will spend 198 million minutes browsing the Currys PC World website on Black Friday this year, the retailer is starting its online event the night before the nation’s largest shopping occasion. To help customers enjoy amazing technology, however they choose to shop with us, 327 Currys PC World stores will be opening their doors at the earlier time of 7am on Friday 23rd November so shoppers can make the most of the Sales before work.
There are deals to be had on a range of technology, from TVs and home audio equipment to large kitchen appliances and laptops and from big brand names including Samsung, Sonos and Philips. With one laptop expected to sell every two seconds, shoppers can make the most of up to £200 off across the range including the ever-popular ACER Aspire 3. Meanwhile, it’s predicted to be another bumper year for TVs with many customers excited to snap up deals on their dream large screen TV.
Additionally, the demand for premium audio is expected to continue and shoppers will be able to save across smart speakers, such as up to £100 from firm favourite Sonos. There are deals available across large kitchen appliances – perfect for anyone looking to upgrade their oven in time for a Christmas dinner.
Since Currys PC World’s Black Tag event launched last Friday, the electrical retailer saw a peak of one order made every second on Currys.co.uk between 9pm and 9.59pm on Tuesday 20th November – up 28% compared with the same time last year. The LG 50” Smart 4K TV, the Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1”, the Lenovo Ideapad 15.6” Intelcore i3 laptop and the Samsung 70/30 Fridge Freezer in Silver are all proving to be amongst some of the most popular Black Tag products this year. Many people have been opting for click and collect whilst others have been eager to try out their new products with the next day delivery option seeing an unprecedented level of popularity.
