Currys Business has launched a new leasing service, as it aims to ease financial pressures on the nation’s SMBs – giving them a flexible route to the latest tech while managing up-front costs.

The House of Commons Business and Trade Committee recently found that SMBs across the UK are grappling with pressures comparable to the Covid-19 pandemic — from electricity bills that have doubled in five years to increased wage and national insurance costs.

Now, with the launch of Currys Business leasing, provided in partnership with CF Corporate Finance (an Investec company), businesses can spread the cost of everything from laptops and printers to TVs and kitchen appliances into simple monthly payments. They’ll also have the flexibility to upgrade, return or keep equipment at the end of the term.

Leasing decisions can be turned around in as little as 30 minutes, with applications available online or through any of Currys' 60 in-store Business Hubs and through a specialist UK-based contact centre. Leasing is open to eligible businesses — from offices and schools, to estate agents and hospitality.

And with 6 million SMBs in the UK, the opportunity is significant. Demand for IT equipment leasing among SMBs jumped 19% in the year to November 2025, according to the Finance and Leasing Association — a clear signal that cash-conscious business owners are looking for smarter ways to manage their tech spend.

As the UK’s largest omnichannel tech retailer, Currys is uniquely placed to meet that demand. Its business arm posted 21% year-on-year growth in January and it has announced the opening of a further 10 dedicated business hubs across the UK this year, with more than 250 specialist Currys Business colleagues on hand to help customers get the tech that’s right for their needs.

So whether it’s saving money on energy bills, mobile or broadband contracts, getting help when tech goes wrong or responsibly recycling end of life products, Currys Business can help.

All at a time where every penny counts, businesses need to know they’re getting the best value for money and that every tech investment is the right one for their business needs.

The service is also built with sustainability in mind. In line with Currys' Long Live Your Tech commitment, every leased product is processed responsibly at the end of its usage — refurbished, reused or recycled.

“We speak to thousands of business owners every week, so we know just how tough an economic climate it is for small businesses right now. This new service gives them a cost-effective, flexible way to invest in the tech they need without the strain of a big upfront spend. For many, that could make a real difference in the year ahead.”
